Nubia’s Flow classes will take you through varied sequences that are fun, novel and will have you moving outside the box. 


You will re- learn the meaning of feeling alive inside again.   


These classes are gentle, accessible to all levels of ability and experience. They are progressive, with different paths to choose from along the way.


Nubia cultivates self- awareness throughout the classes by guiding while allowing you the space to sense your inner body so your body and mind start an intimate communication from which you can gain insight and experience during the class. 


We concentrate on the movement journey where, yoga poses may be introduced  more like a transition through varied, fun, dynamic and expressive sequences, but are not the final destination.


During the classes you might be pleasantly surprised to realise that you  can do things you thought you couldn't.

Conscious physical movement alongside breathing practice has the power to regulate your nervous system, unlock deep set memories and realease you from habitual patterns which may be inhibiting your body. Here you will re-connect with yourself in all aspects of your life; body, mind, soul and breath. 


Learn  how to relax your inner body deeply including your vital organs and tap into your own healing powers. 


With this practice, you will not only enhance your physical abilities, and your musculo-eskeletal tone but also you will challenge your brain through coordination and balance training , abilities that have been scientifically proven to improve cognition and even prevent you from early decline and the risk of falling in later life. 


These classes will be sprinkled with educational gifts while ensuring you keep motivated and engaged.


Learning has remained at the heart of my personal development throughout my life. I am passionate about resourcing more tools to be able to offer my students a more rounded and integrated experience. I feel passionate about encouraging you to start /continue your journey into your own self development,  learning and self-discovery.

I’ve been studying with incredible teachers like Carrie Owerko, Jules Mitchell, Jenn Pilotti to name a few. All prominent movement professionals  and yoga experts each with  many years experience. 


 My studies inform my teaching  and cover: 

*science of movement

* neuro muscular training, *biomechanics, 

*somatic    

This is why I feel confident to incorporate and blend different strands in to the lessons. 


Innovative movement, resistance work, load and rhythm intertwine whilst making the classes simple and easy to follow. 


I am passionate to provide my students with a meaningful experience  that leaves them with a sense of personal autonomy, a positive perception of life and  capability  to act freely and independently  so as to create an active and fulfilling daily routine in their lives 

 

When you feel stronger and capable, you gain a sense of autonomy which co-relates to self esteem and confidence.

 

Evidence shows that  if you gradually introduce an external resistance or  load in your practice you increase the challenge for your muscles, which makes them more adaptable, resilient and functional, and making you into a more rounded  healthy person.

Movement is what gets me up everyday, is my passion and what I want to share with the world. 


Serving the people around me in this way fulfils my mission. I want to help you become adaptable and capable of improving your physical capacity no matter your age  or ability.
